The prevailing form of robotics technology was primarily a real-time system combined with an Android operating system. The main implementation of artificial intelligence relied on cloud-based AI, where devices would transmit data to the cloud for processing and then receive the results back. However, this remote computing approach introduced issues such as latency, lag, and inadequate privacy protection. It was not the optimal solution for building robotic products. The robotics industry urgently needed a local solution for real-time processing and response to handle large volumes of data. Additionally, there was a lack of an embedded intelligent control platform. MIIVII TECH was established and gradually grew to address these industry needs."
Speaking about the initial motivation for starting the company, CTO Jun Su stated, "MIIVII TECH's research and development efforts are focused on edge computing and embedded artificial intelligence systems. We aim to provide integrated software and hardware products and technologies to the industry, making edge intelligence more robust and efficient. Our research direction is centered around leading the transformation of AI applications from 'humanoid machines' to 'artificial intelligence robots,' enabling AI machines to achieve fully autonomous cognition, decision-making, and execution."

CTO Jun Su explained that MIIVII TECH has a deep relationship with NVIDIA, a leading global chip manufacturer. As early as around 2013, they began collaborating with NVIDIA. Leveraging NVIDIA's GPU chip products and their unique algorithms and deep research, they have developed embedded supercomputing platforms called "MIIVII Edge Intelligence Products" for robots, low-speed unmanned vehicles, remote intelligent driving vehicles, and more. MIIVII TECH also provides various visual algorithms and navigation obstacle avoidance algorithms. This has become one of the company's leading advantages, setting them apart from the competition.
MIIVII TECH's growth and ability to provide high-quality services to industrial clients have been driven by their product offerings and R&D technology advantages. Furthermore, MIIVII APEX AD10 offers efficient multi-sensor clock synchronization functions such as PPS synchronization, Sync Out synchronization, and Sync In synchronization, supporting asynchronous triggering.
