Introduction: Leading the New Direction of the Industry

In the rapid development of autonomous robotics and autonomous driving industries, challenges and opportunities coexist. As a solution provider for NVIDIA,MIIVII is at the forefront of this transformation by introducing new software support for our Apex series hardware products.

Through this upgrade, we are committed to providing more efficient and reliable solutions for industry needs.

Part/1 Product Highlights: Apex's New Software Capabilities

Support for ROS2

We have introduced software upgrades for Apex, including comprehensive support for ROS2 and GMSL2 cameras. This not only improves the overall efficiency of the system, but also simplifies the development and integration process.

Performance characteristics

By showcasing Apex's outstanding performance in resource utilization and timestamp acquisition through dedicated images, our customers can visually see the performance improvement.

From the above comparison, it can be seen that using v4l method to obtain image data, the CPU occupies 8 cores, with an average usage of 20% to 50%.

The use of the MIIVII SDK results in an average usage of 10% to 20% on three cores, and 3% to 5% on the remaining five CPU cores.

In summary, using the MIIVII SDK results in a resource utilization of around 20% to 30% of the v4l method, saving 80% of CPU resources.

Convenience

We value user experience, so we focus on usability and rapid deployment in software design, making the development process more efficient and smooth.

Part/2 Competitive Advantage: Differentiation with Competitors

At MIIVII, we are well aware that one of the core challenges in the autonomous robotics and autonomous driving industry is how to efficiently utilize limited resources.

Through our software upgrade of Apex hardware, we not only enhanced the functionality of the product, but more importantly, optimized resource allocation.

MIIVII's software design has been carefully adjusted to allow Apex to release more resources to support other applications while running core programs.

This transformation means that developers and product companies can now run more tasks on the same hardware platform without the need for additional investment in expensive hardware resources.

In addition, this software upgrade greatly reduces development costs. By simplifying the integration process of ROS2, we provide customers with a more intuitive and user-friendly development environment.

This not only reduces development time, but also means lowering overall project costs. By accelerating the migration to ROS2, MIIVII's customers are able to launch their products faster, thereby gaining an advantage in the fiercely competitive market.

In summary, this software upgrade by Miwen Power is a direct response to the goal of cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Our customers can now enjoy more efficient resource utilization, reduced development costs, and faster market response, all of which are achieved without sacrificing performance.

This not only enhances the market competitiveness of our products, but also brings tangible commercial value to our customers.
